Savory makes it easy to customize your sorbet or gelato. We can serve it in different disposable cups or in our chilled martini glasses. One fun option is to have an action station, where one of our staff members serves it up for each guest. Your guests will have so much fun picking which flavors to sample and coming back to their favorites.

Serve it in individual disposable square or round cups

Give your party some flair and serve your gelato in a frosted Martini glass. We also love to add Tuiles. This is our famous Salted Caramel Gelato.

Your treat can be dressed up with a candied orange slice or even a sugar rimmer. This is a Blood Orange Watermelon Sorbet.

This smaller portion is great for weddings or as an amuse bouche! Pictured here is a Green Apple Wasabi Sorbet.

Chef Action Station: Gelato or Sorbet Bar

Having an action station to your event really brings an entertainment factor to your event. You can choose to serve your delectable frozen treat in disposable cups, cones, or in our glassware.

Wedding Consultation

Weddings are such a special occasion that we want everything to be perfect for your special day. Our Chef likes to have a special consultation with each bride to make sure the food fits her various needs. Here is all you'll need to know about consulting with our executive chef at Savory.

How it works

Chef Lou will sit down with you and your groom (or mother, or maid of honor) and get to know you a little bit. She likes to do this because she likes to put your personalities or your story into the food served at your wedding. For example, one of our brides and her fiance were quite outdoorsy. Their engagements pictures had them by a stream, building a tent, and roasting marshmallows.  For their reception we had a S'mores action station. The guests had fun roasting their marshmallows to perfection, adding chocolate and smashing it between two cookies. It was a fun reflection of their personality and history.
After getting to know you, Chef Lou will create a customized invoice for your wedding. She will use time-tested favorites or even create new dishes to fit you and the event. You have the freedom to alter the invoice as many times until you find the perfect combination for your wedding.

What to bring or prepare for

Although you don't need to bring anything, it's a good idea to talk with your fiance about what you want out of the food for your wedding. Here are some questions to go over with your better half:
  • Do we want a full dinner or just appetizers?
  • Do we want just desserts or include a variety of sweet and non-sweet items?
  • Do we want our guests to leave with a full stomach or provide them with a snack.
  • Is our reception more formal or casual?
  • Are we having a certain theme or style for our reception?
Knowing these questions beforehand will help give Lou a good idea of what you envision.  Some other things factors will determine how much and the type of food served at your wedding including time of day, location, guest allergies/food preference, season, number of guests, etc. If you have other questions or concerns Chef Lou will be happy to answer those for you. She is here to help you plan and create a memorable experience for you and all your guests.

Action Station

The latest and greatest from the culinary world are action stations.
For those not "in the know", action stations are a place at the event where a Chef prepares your food right in front of you! These are great for custom orders or items that need to be served immediately.

Last year we had a coconut shrimp action station:

Our Chef fried the coconut shrimp fresh for your order! This ensured that the shrimp was crispy and not dull and limp.

We had a spicy-sweet dipping sauce that paired well with the coconut shrimp. Guests also loved the interaction with the chef. It was hands-on, fun, and delicious.

Adding an action station to your event lets your guests have a unique experience. No longer is it boring food spread out on a platter, but rather something they can customize.

These are fun Chef action station ideas:

Sweet crepes: fresh fruit, chocolate spreads, whipped spreads, all served on a fresh crepe.

Grilled panini bar: you get to choose the meat, cheese, and vegetables for your sandwich!

Gelato bar: perfect refreshing treat for any summer event, served in a mini cone.  Think of serving flavors like lavender, toasted sesame seed, salted caramel gelato, grapefruit, root beer, raspberry, lime, mint chocolate chip, pistachio, etc.

Gourmet Grilled cheese bar: great for casual events where the guests can add as much variety as they want to this kid's classic.

Talk with Chef Lou today about the action station you want at your next event.
